What does MVSTER mean?
  • Muster (gather together) + Virtual = MVSTER
What problem does our team want to solve?

We want to make virtual concerts accessible to everyone.

The VTuber (virtual YouTuber and streamer) and virtual idol industries are growing, but virtual concerts are still expensive for individuals and small teams to host.

Through our VR concert platform, MVSTER, we aim to let them plan and host their own concerts using devices they already own.

What problems do you want this idea to address?

The VTuber (virtual streamer) and virtual idol industries are growing, but virtual concerts are still expensive for individuals and small teams to host.

Most VTuber concert videos require professional production or manual work, and offer limited audience immersion, including in how they incorporate live chat.

We therefore designed a service that would let VTubers host their own concerts easily and affordably, while bringing fans into the same space as the performers so they could connect more closely.

VTubers should not have to buy and set up expensive motion-capture equipment, rent it, or visit a motion-capture studio and worry about compromising their anonymity. The concept supports motion capture using only a webcam, a staple of a VTuber’s setup, or a VR headset.

The concept includes a Stage Sequencer for easily planning venues, lighting, and special effects along a performance timeline using presets, along with integration with existing streaming platforms such as SOOP, CHZZK, and YouTube.

This would allow VTubers to invite fans to their own concerts and receive cheers and financial support without the costs or specialist expertise otherwise required. We believe this could make virtual concerts accessible to everyone.

Why are you interested in this idea?

The barriers to becoming an independent creator, especially a livestreamer, continue to fall. One factor behind this is the rise of VTubers (virtual YouTubers and streamers).

As technology becomes easier to use, individuals can produce many kinds of content. VTubers have the additional advantage of an avatar in a virtual world.
This market has been growing steadily. Its culture also closely resembles idol fandom, including K-pop.

Idols often weave their journeys and the things they want to say into their lyrics. BTS is a well-known example, but 이세계 아이돌, described in the original record as Korea’s most established virtual idol group at the time, also won fans through this kind of storytelling.

A concert is more than a singer performing one song after another. The venue’s theme and layout, and even the setlist, carry the artist’s story. That is why a concert resonates with fans far more deeply than a playlist.

This idea matters to me because I want everyone in the VTuber world, an industry I care about, to have a chance to share their songs and stories with fans. I want to see that happen.

What strengths can our team contribute to other startups?

Our business concept, MVSTER, is also a versatile entertainment platform, making it well suited to collaboration with startups in many fields.

Possibilities include marketing built around intellectual property, concert venues that reflect fandom culture, and new revenue streams through digital merchandise. We are always looking for ways to create that kind of synergy.

Working together with other startups can make our work more efficient and rewarding rather than simply adding to the workload. That is why we plan to actively seek out and connect with fellow startups.
